Kimolee Eryn is an artist, author, speaker and advocate for self-love. A candid voice for mental health and self-care, Kimolee uses her art to advocate for social justice, domestic violence and women empowerment. Her mission as a creative is to be as authentic as she can be at all times. She creates primarily for herself, as a release but secondarily for those who find themselves in her world. She aims to live and create a life that promotes wellness, peace and self-love. Kimolee believes that a life should be lived not just to sustain itself but to cultivate peace, love and growth in all adjacent beings and hopes to exemplify that in all she does. Her art is the packaging of those values, it's her gift to the world.
ABOUT THE book
Control doesn't suggest that managing your life will get rid of mental health issues. It suggests that while managing your life - when depressive moods flair and begin to snowball, the less drama you have lying in the path, the less extra emotion gets tossed into your episode thus making it a little easier to get through.
We hoard our experiences, good and bad, regardless of how it feels because drama gives us something to talk about and having something to talk about is the basis of our connections. Control is about cleaning up the areas of our lives that are the messiest and finding better values to live by so that we can create better habits and live an overall healthier life.
